February Prayers

February 1

Father, thank You for the church You’ve led us to, the church we call home. The place where we sit at Your feet and learn from Your Holy Spirit who has given our Pastor the words to speak. For the worship we get to sing to You as one body and the fellowship we have with our church family. What a beautiful thing it is. Amen

February 2

Lord we may not have expensive perfume to pour upon You, as Mary did. We pray that our love and devotion, our faith and worship will be as the fragrance that filled that room. Lord May we love and reverence You as she did. Amen

February 3

Lord God thank You for the gift of salvation. For the joy that it has filled us with. For the love that engulfs us. For the sacrifice You made to bring us into Your kingdom. Amen

February 4

Sometimes Lord we can feel so far away from You, because our faith can waver. Especially, when it comes to the promises You’ve made, and the waiting is long. Empower us Lord to remain steadfast and wait in peace for the promises You’ve made are made to us individually. In Jesus’ name amen.

February 5

Thank You Lord that You are the light of the world, for there is darkness all around us. Keep us in Your light so the darkness will not consume us. In the name of Jesus we pray.

February 6

In those moments of prayer, when we recognize our great need and truly believe in Your divine ability to answer and provide, we find Your presence and fellowship so sweet and real. Our heart becomes overwhelmed by Your goodness. Thank You Lord for these beautiful moments.

February 7

Lord some of us believed that when we accepted Your gift of salvation our lives would transform into everything good. Finances, health, relationships would be perfect. This is not how it is, it is so much better. For You come and wrap Your arms around us and carry us through the messes of our lives, loving us and empowering us with joy and peace. Thank You sweet Lord thank You.

February 8

Heavenly Father help us to see the miracles that surround us and not to reflect on the craziness that surrounds us. Give us eyes that are kept on You. In the name of Jesus we pray.

February 9

Lord we lift up those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Oh comfort them and give them peace. Strengthen them to make it through their sorrow. In Jesus’ name we pray.

February 10

Our Father set us free from the bondage of the sin that so easily we can fall in to. Lord our flesh can seem so strong and we so weak. Remind us of who we are in You and the power You have given to us to fight the temptations that come. In the name of Jesus we pray amen.

February 11

Lord give us new perspectives; some of us can tend to have negative perspectives in everything. It can be something wonderful and beautiful and yet we look for something wrong. With You Lord our perspective should be that of hope, joy and peace. Instill in us these and eyes that see Your wondrous works. In the name of Jesus we pray.

February 12

Renew our minds Lord with the truth of Your word. May we follow none other than Yours. For it is only Your words that breathe life into us and gives us the way to go. In the name of Jesus we pray.

February 13

Thank You Lord, for You are our refuge and our unshakable God. Thank You for never leaving us when we are paralyzed by fear and doubt. It is then when we can feel You ever so close if only we would just open our eyes and unclench our hands from holding onto those emotions. Amen

February 14

What greater love is there than what You continually bestow upon us. We are so undeserving and yet every moment by moment Your love does not fail. It does not lessen. You love us to the point of sending Your Son to die for us. Thank You Lord.

February 15

Lord some of us feel so burnt out. Some of us are providers and it can seem that no matter what we do it’s never enough. Father help us, help us to lean on You and depend on You and not on our own strength. Lord give us that faith to trust You and Your provisions. In Jesus’ name we pray.

February 16

Father forgive us when we worry and are striving. Help us to rest and fully believe You are our Shepherd that provides green pastures. A place of peace and rest. In the name of Jesus we pray amen.

February 17

Sweet Lord thank You for leading us to still waters. If only we would learn to be still and listen for Your still small voice, instead of us allowing Your voice to be drowned out by the worldly things in our lives. In the name of Jesus we pray.

February 18

Father we worship and adore You with our hearts. We praise and honor You with our faith. We give You glory with our walk. May these be true of each of us.

February 19

Jehova Shalom, You who are our peace. The peace that engulfs us when we are exhausted from worry. The peace that raises us up out of the pit of despair. Thank You Lord for this gift. Amen

February 20

Lord give us patience in the moments of anger and frustration. Keep us from losing it. Give us the wisdom to respond with grace and understanding. In Jesus’ name we pray.

February 21

Father there are those of us who are mourning as well as those we know who are filled with grief. Carry us during this time Lord. Remind us of Your comfort and grace and that we are not alone. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.

February 22

There are those who are recovering from illness Lord, that need strength in their bodies and patience to continue on the journey of healing. Help them to trust in Your faithfulness at this time. In Jesus' name we pray.

February 23

Lord God we lift up our families to You. We pray that You bind us together in unity in love and strength. Restore relationships and give us hearts that are loving, kind, forgiving of one another. Let us not allow the enemy to have a foothold. In Jesus’ name we pray.

February 24

Fill us with Your strength O Lord! We need You to remove all self reliance that we foolishly depend on. In the name of Jesus we pray.

February 25

Lord accept our words that flow from our mouths; may they reach Your heart and be a sweet aroma to You. We love You Lord, Savior and King. We thank You for the unending grace and mercy. Amen

February 26

We pray for the young men in our lives. We ask for Your hand to be continually upon them. That their hearts would be totally turned to You. Lead them away from the world. Keep them strong and courageous. Give them eyes to see the truth in a world that offers lies. In the name of Jesus amen.

February 27

Father we give You our daughters and granddaughters. We pray for their innocence to be kept. We pray that the wolves of this world would have no power over them. Keep them safe and away from the temptations of sin. Empower them to be strong to fight against the desires of sin. In the name of Jesus amen.

February 28

Lord God, we need a double portion of patience, wisdom, empathy and compassion when it comes to some of the relationships we have. Help us to be a light of love and give us words that are gentle and kind for them. In the name of Jesus amen.
