March Prayers

March 1

Oh Lord forgive us when we dishonor Your name, by proclaiming to those around us that we are Christians and yet live in sin. Free us Lord from the bondage of these sins that dishonor Your name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

March 2

Lord God, Your word says not to be afraid of pestilence. Oh Lord this is so hard when we hear the word: cancer or some other disease. Come alongside us and let us know we do not have these alone for You are with us. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 3

Father forgive us when we do the things You call us to do and pride raises up inside us. When we do an act of kindness and take the credit for ourselves. Or when we boast of the things we’ve done. Lord remove that ugliness from us. May we always be humble and give You all the glory. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 4

Lord as we go through this day and every day, in everything we do, help us to know your incomparably great power. To rely on You, for in ourselves there is only weakness. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 5

Lord God, thank You for loving us with a love that we cannot grasp. Thank You for the insurmountable joy You provide. Thank You for the mercies You pour out on us every morning that we do not deserve. Thank You for calling us into Your kingdom and giving us rest. Amen and amen

March 6

Father, give us a love that abounds, a love that is alive and growing. Lord that the love we have for You continue to grow deeper daily. That the love, compassion and kindness flow from us to those around us. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 7

Lord we thank You for those you have encamped around us, that are encouragers, prayer warriors, those who come alongside and raise us up to You. Keep them Lord, bless them as they bless us. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 8

Lord we pray You remove any ungodly desires from us. Replace them with desires for You that will never cease. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

March 9

Father, thank You for the times we’ve been led into the wilderness. For in that place we can grow. Lord may we rest in knowing that You are there with us and there is always a purpose and all things will work out for good. Amen

March 10

We ask Lord for Your forgiveness, as there are some of us who are parading around in self holiness, to get recognition from those around us. We shamefully confess and ask that You remove self pride and fill us with pure hearts devoted to You and dead to self. In the name of Jesus amen.

March 11

Lord give us pure hearts, hearts that are tender, soft and pliable. Hearts that break for what breaks Yours. Hearts that are so full of love, that it is so evident it is You living in us. In Jesus’ name we pray.

March 12

Help us Lord to continue in Your word, to live in Your word when trials come. Help us to bless those around us who curse us. Help us to love when we are hated. Help us to give more when they have taken. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray.

March 13

Lord when we are going through the wilderness it can seem as if You have us here to get frustrated and give up. Remind us Lord that the wilderness is not a place of failure but a place of VICTORY. For You are in the wilderness with us, interceding in prayer for us. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.

March 14

Oh Father thank You for providing a secret place, that gives us protection. Thank You that it is in Your loving arms where we can have this place of protection and peace, of rest and joy. Our refuge. Amen

March 15

Father we pray for singles who may be frustrated and saddened as they have not found the right one. Lord we pray you set them apart and give them wisdom and discernment to know who it is that You have for them. Strengthen them in the waiting. May they be content with their relationship with You during this time. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 16

Lord God we ask for Your mercy as we fall short in so many ways. Lord change us, make us more like you. For this is our desire. Remove any desire that keeps us from You. In Jesus’ name we pray.

March 17

Lord we surrender our anxieties and we open our hearts to Your peace. We trust You to carry us through and give us rest when anxiety raises up within us. Amen

March 18

Lord God we stand in awe of Your holiness. There are times when we lift up our hands and prayers and we are so undone in Your presence and amazed that You have chosen us to be Your children. Amen

March 19

Lord thank You for delivering us from the snares of Satan. Thank You that You provide for us the way of escape. Amen

March 20

Forgive us Lord when we fail to run to Your arms when we are fearful or in need, when we are overwhelmed or disheartened. When we do not have the answers Your arms are always outstretched to us. You are always here with us. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 21

Thank You Lord for Your unshakable faithfulness, even when we are faithless. We ask for a double portion of faith so we will not waver. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

March 22

Lord, help us to remember to run to You and believe by faith that You will pick us up out of harm’s way and deliver us from trouble as we put our trust in You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

March 23

Lord we say as Joshua, "For me and my household will serve the Lord." Oh get a hold of all those who live under our roofs. Get a hold of our family members that have not chosen you or who are lukewarm. May these words ring true in each of our homes.

March 24

Father some of us have made plans, plans to move or to change jobs. Plans to go to college or become a part of a certain ministry. Lord if these are our desires, but You are not in them, close the doors. May the plans we make be those you have for us. In Jesus’ name we pray.

March 25

Lord God, some of us are having a conflict with a friend or family member. Lord remove the hostility and replace it with peace. Only You can come between us and give us mercy, grace and forgiveness for the other. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 26

Lord we ask You to rekindle the passion in our marriages. Soften our hearts toward one another and help us to see each other with fresh eyes. Bring back the excitement of shared moments, the warmth of tender words, and the deep connection that drew us together in the beginning. In the name of Jesus we pray.

March 27

Lord You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. You are our Creator and our Counselor, making us wise to make decisions. Lord, You are our Comforter in sorrow. We praise you for drawing near to us when we draw near to you. You are El Roi, the God who sees us and you are Eternal. You are our Heavenly Father. For these and so much more we thank You.

March 28

Lord it is a new day, a day we’ve never lived before. It is full of the unknown, but it is not unknown to You. Thank You for seeing this day and knowing what is going to happen. Help us to live each moment of this day knowing You are here with us. Amen

March 29

Lord God we raise our hands to no one but You. We praise and worship no one but You. We bow our knees to no one but You. May these words be ever true of each one of us. Amen

Open our eyes Lord to see the work of Your hands. To understand the mysteries that You hold. Give us understanding of those things that are hidden from the world but are open to us. In the name of Jesus we pray.

Father we ask that You intervene on the behalf of those trying to adopt. Help them to get through all the obstacles that they may face. Grant them favor with those in charge. May it be a peaceful, quick journey for their arms and hearts to be full with a little one. In the name of Jesus we pray.
