Get settled, please, because like my other God Moments, this is going to take a while!

I wanted to bless my new neighbor with diapers from the Bridge Women's Center diaper drive, so I was glad to hear they were giving them out after service last Saturday. I wasn't sure what size her less-than-2-year-old son needed, so some suggested size 5, and that's what I got. When I got home Saturday night, I noticed in our community dumpster a diaper box that said "size 4". It had to be my neighbor's--she's the only one in our building with a baby, and as a single mom, I hoped she'd be blessed by them.

While I love doing things for people in the name the LORD, I am a bit of a coward, so I kept asking the LORD--should I just drop them on her doorstep, or should I give them to her in person? Well, as usual, the LORD took care of that Himself.

I went back out to CCOB Sunday morning and switched out the size 5 diapers for size 4, making sure to tuck a bookmark from the Women's Ministry table in the bag. After running some more errands, I came home and started unloading my car. As I was lugging the bag of diapers upstairs, the neighbor was coming downstairs to walk her dog, so I took advantage of the moment. I told her she had good timing, and that "this bag is for you." She seemed grateful, but hesitant, but she brightened when I explained they were free diapers, and that "my church was giving diapers away for Mother's Day, and you're the only person I know with a baby." She brought them upstairs when she finished walking her dog, and I thanked GOD for orchestrating the exchange according to His will and not mine. Her name is Monica, so please keep her in prayer--she moved in a few months ago after escaping an abusive relationship.

Thanks to CCOB and Bridge Women's Center for this outreach--I know many other families were blessed by your service!
