July 7 - Mary Rose Marrale

The God moment I am sharing today is what used to call a God Wink. I received a text this past Friday from a sister in Christ that I know for a long while. We have recently begun praying together over the phone as she resides in another state. She has a very packed schedule so we generally speak early in the a.m. and often en route to one place or another. Not for the praying, just for the catching up.

She texted me first "Hey are you ok?" and I replied "Why love?" She responded "Dunno felt I needed to ask. Are you?" I replied "We serve an amazing God" because truthfully I was not OK. So we spoke and she prayed and let me say I have incredible sisters in Christ that I pray with and for and they are so faithful to pray for me but this was a caress from heaven. I had been crying out for a particular situation and He let me know He heard. We trust always and pray in faith believing He will bring it to pass in His timing according to His will but this, this was a reminder that He holds our tears and hears our cries. You see she had the urge to pray for me and she did. But she knew it wasn't enough so she reached out. God used my friend to show me His love on a day when I just needed a bit more and I am so grateful to be His.
