July 10 - Charlie Mack

Yesterday, my wife Chrissie and I helped at the Bath Michigan Bike Rodeo. We volunteered to teach bike safety to young kids.

My daughter Heather brought our 2 grandsons, Carlos and Cruz. The younger brother, Cruz was frustrated because his brakes aren't working on his older falling apart bike, which he has outgrown.

Heather was praying for a new bike for him. It was time. Grandmother Chrissie was praying for new bike for him. When I went back to their house and he told me about his bike problems, I happened to also shoot up a quick prayer.

Carlos the brother, a few minutes later came flying back home all excited - he had just won a bike giveaway at the Bath, Michigan Event. He announced that he wanted to give it to little brother.

So the whole family blindfolded Cruz and led him outside. Carlos told him, “I've got a birthday present for you!!” This new silver bike is the perfect boy’s size for Cruz. He just hugged his brother and tried not to cry.

When brothers are also brothers in the Lord, they are indeed brothers for eternity. Sometimes things just happen special to/between brothers.
