April 25 - Valerie Miller

Recently a roofing company came and put a new roof on the building where I work. As a result we had a pigeon stuck in the ceiling directly above my work station. For days it fluttered around trying to get out. As you can imagine, I felt so bad for it. I started praying for The Lord to show it a way out. At the end of the week, 1 minute before closing for the weekend the bird was able to squeeze through a little crack and fly out the door to freedom. It was to me as if The Lord gave it just a little push to help it along! I was reminded of the verse in Matthew 6:26 telling us Our Father in Heaven cares even for the birds, how much more does he care for us?
