April 24 - Sharon Johnson

On Monday and Tuesday of last week (May 2 and May 3, 2022), I woke up in the morning and decided to pray the ‘Our Father’ prayer as a model prayer to God before getting out of bed. I don’t normally pray in this manner, but heard something recently that made me want to put this into practice. Additionally, on Monday and Tuesday, I just happened to see the clock at 3:33 p.m. on both days and wondered what this could mean. Wednesday night of last week, I attended the CCOB mid-week service. Pastor Lloyd preached on the Lord’s Prayer in Luke 11. In addition, he mentioned Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” I was so joyful and grateful that the Lord brought it all together for me at the service, confirming His leading and clarifying what 3:33 meant.

And, it doesn’t end there. On Mother’s Day, I was buying lunch for my mom, and feeling a little down. As I rang up my items at the self-checkout, I laughed with joy as the total came to $33.33, an encouragement from the Lord for me to call out to Him in prayer. I then proceeded to drive to mom’s and spend the day with her. We had such a wonderful time together. While there, I had some down time and used it to scroll on my phone, and came across a message on YouTube. The video was 3:33 minutes long, and I just happened to be viewing it at 3:33 p.m. This message was on Psalm 23:4 about not fearing. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

This message about not fearing was extremely timely as I was experiencing a lot of fear last week. Plus, the day before Mother’s Day, I had attended a ladies’ breakfast at my friend’s church where I received prayer. The woman praying for me specifically mentioned that the Lord will not leave me or forsake me, and that He said, “Don’t fear.” Praise be to God for His love and care for me in leading me and confirming His voice.
