June Prayers

June 1

Lord the Bible tells us that Your word is a consuming fire and a hammer. Father may that fire consume our sinful thoughts and may that hammer break every sinful bondage that has a hold on us. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 2

Lord some of us are holding on to things that happened to us in our past, things that have caused us great pain. We need help to let them go and allow You to begin the healing process. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 3

Lord some of us have become disconnected, complacent. We have lost our first love. Revive us Lord. Restore the fire that once burned within us for the things of You. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 4

Our Shepherd, we have raised our children in a Christian home and yet some of our children have wandered away. Have mercy Lord and bring them back home to Your loving arms, to the truth they once believed. In the name of Jesus we desperately pray.

June 5

Father, there are times we can get angry and we either hold it in or explode. Instead of coming before You. When we get like this Lord forgive us and lead us back to You and into Your presence where we find peace. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 6

Lord fear can paralyze us to the point of not moving, staying in whatever is causing our fear. Your word reminds us not to fear. Sometimes it can be so hard to let go of our fears. Lord only You can separate us from them. We cry out to You Lord, free us. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.

June 7

Some days Lord, it feels like we are fighting a mighty army. We feel weak and unsure. The enemy is about to win. Come save us Lord. Come save us. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 8

Lord forgive us when we doubt You in the waiting. When we fail to be remain steadfast and give into questions, doubts and fears. Help us Lord to remain firm in Your truth and promises. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 9

Lord there are some sitting in our churches who have yet to make the decision to accept Your gift of salvation. They aren’t sure if what they are hearing is true. Father we pray a mighty moving of Your Holy Spirit to fall upon them so that they may see the truth, and fall into Your arms. In the name of Jesus we pray.

June 10

Thank You Lord that You have begun a good work in us and You will continue until it is completed. We fail so many times and yet You come and pick us up and take us and continue working through us. Amen

June 11

Lord some of our teens have become rebellious. They have turned their backs from honoring their parents and most importantly walked away from the church. Lord give us wisdom and discernment to know what to do. Our hearts are broken. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

June 12

Sweet Lord, give us clarity in our eyes to see all the wonderful good things You have done in our lives. Oh, that we would not forget. Thank You for Your mercy, for Your protection, Your guidance and for Your love. Amen

June 13

Father forgive us when we care more of what people think of us ahead of what You think of us. Bring us back to our first love for there is where our honor and praise and reverence for You is. In them name of Jesus we pray.

June 14

Thank You Lord for loving us despite our imperfections. Thank You for putting up with us as we can truly behave like selfish children. Thank You for You are not done with us yet. Amen

June 15

Lord we know that if our faith is rooted in You, You who have all authority, then we must walk fully abandoned to You. Oh Lord we fail so many times in believing this and go our own ways. Lord incline our hearts to be completely abandoned to You. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 16

Lord when we read about how the Israelites were ungrateful for all that You’ve done for them, it’s easy for us to be judgmental. But aren’t we the same Lord? Forgive us Father for You have been so forgiving, so loving so merciful so kind. Thank You Lord may we never cease to be grateful.

June 17

Thank You for Your constant loving care. You have never left us, no matter the circumstances, no matter the trials. You are constant. Thank You Lord, thank You.

June 18

Sovereign God, recall to our memories all the things You have done in our lives. So that when someone else is going through something we have all ready been through we can share how You came alongside us and brought us out of the trials. In the name of Jesus we pray.

June 19

Lord we are humbled, so grateful and blessed to be called Your child. Lord we try to keep Your expectations of us, but we can fail miserably. Yet You love us beyond words and forgive us. Thank You Lord. Amen

June 20

Father our heart's desire is to be a God-fearing people. One that will reverence You and love You above all things. More than anything Lord, we want to please You. Amen

June 21

Forgive us Lord when we take our relationship with You and turn it into religion. You do not want sacrifices but a heart that is surrendered to You. Help us Lord when we turn our deeds into a list of things we think we need to do in order to be saved. For You have done it all. It is finished.

June 22

Father some of us are complainers. Remove that kind of character from us and give us hearts that are thankful for whatever we have no matter how much or how little. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 23

Lord there are some of us who wake up and first thing we feel is exhaustion, stress and an overwhelming feeling. We cry out to You and ask that You awaken us with peace of mind and heart. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 24

Help us not to lose hope in You Jesus and what You can do. For we’re waiting on our own miracle of healing. We want to be able to rejoice as we may see someone else’s healing. Lord, Just because You haven’t healed us, doesn't mean You won’t, and just because it seems as if You have remained silent, it doesn’t mean You are. Amen

June 25

Open our hearts Lord, to understand Your Word and Your will for our lives. That we would see it clearly. Help us to see the opportunities You provide to express our faith and put it into action. In Jesus’ name we pray.

June 26

Lord as the children are home from school we come before You and lift up their parents. We ask that You give them a double portion of patience, wisdom and creativity to be able to bless their children with their love and their time. Amen

June 27

Thank You Father for meeting all our needs. Oh that we would be content with what we have and not be envious of what our neighbors have. In Jesus’ name. Amen

June 28

Help us to be wise in our future plans and not waste our time on useless worrying. Make us shrewd, and smart as we rely on You to give us the wisdom we need for our tomorrows. In the name of Jesus we pray.

June 29

Lord our God, we hide in the shadow of Your wings. We hide there for we know that we are safe and under Your care. We pray we are steadfast in remaining there. For we need You. Amen and Amen

June 30

Forgive us Lord when we question Your ways. When we question what You are doing in our lives. We fail to see what You see. We fail to know the end, but You know. Oh that we would rest in this. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus we pray.
