About a year ago I was praying during my walk around my neighborhood. I was in a very grateful mood despite the craziness of the world around me. I was thanking God for all my spiritual and earthly blessings. I then prayed, asking specifically what God wanted of me, why have I been so blessed. I remember praying, I am here Lord, use me. I was still in a deep fervent prayer when I noticed a young man mowing his lawn, as I neared him his lawnmower stalled. I smiled at him and made some small talk… I told him I needed to mow my lawn too but the grass was still damp. He agreed and complained that he should have waited since now his lawnmower clogged. Then it occurred to me, share the good news. The young man’s face lit up when I mentioned Jesus Christ. He stepped closer to me and started talking. He told me he had been troubled about what was happening in the world and started watching videos online about faith trying to find answers but just felt overwhelmed. He then asked me if I read the Bible and what version. He wanted to get a Bible but didn’t know where to begin. Then he shared that he has been praying for help and guidance. THAT WAS OUR GOD MOMENT. God used me as I had asked and sent help to this young man as he had asked.

Now I can’t stop there. He got saved, he then was a great influence on his wife who also got saved. They are on fire and have shared the gospel with the parents of the children in their children’s play group.

When I look behind me in church I see the young man, his wife and two children regularly. I also see their friends. It is getting crowded! AMEN. To God be the glory.
