20 plus years ago I was working 7 days a week for almost 7 years straight and felt lost and depressed. I turned the lights off and prayed for something to raise my spirits, walked into my office to drink my coffee and I looked at the newspaper. This off duty single mom paramedic had just worked 36 hours straight walking home to be with her kids. She noticed a lot of smoke coming out of the 5th floor of a building she was walking by she ran in pulled the fire alarm and started getting people out and triage them until help arrived. Another 4 hours later she was home with her kids.

This elevated my spirits and I thanked God for answering my prayers and began to take my first steps to becoming a believer in Christ Jesus.
