My son had been struggling with addiction for many years; it was draining us financially but also emotionally. My husband and I and our bible study groups and friends, prayed for years for his release from addiction and the depression and chaos around it

One night I was alone crying out to God when He distinctly told me "Be still and know that I am God". Wow! I was trying to control his addiction and God flat out told me to take my hands off it! Well, I listened, for the next 4 years God pursued my son (and he didn't even know it) showing grace and mercy through all of his troubles. Fast forward to 2020 when he asked "are you guys going to church tonight" "of course" was the answer and he said he wanted to come. He sat there week after week until his heart was completely taken over by Jesus. He now has a strong walk and is happier than he has ever been in his life.

This is more his God moment I suppose, but I feel like it's mine as well.
